FAQ
Common questions.
General information only, not legal advice for your situation. Call for that.
How much does it cost to hire you?
It depends on the matter. Most criminal and family cases are handled on a flat fee for a defined scope; litigation and election work are usually hourly. You get the fee structure in writing before you retain the firm, with no surprise charges after.
Do you offer free consultations?
The first call is a short conversation about what happened and whether the firm is the right fit. If the matter needs a full case review, we will discuss what that involves before scheduling it.
Where is your office, and will you appear in court?
The office is at 1970 W. Fayette Street, Suite 509, Syracuse, NY 13204. Appearances are made in person wherever required, and client meetings happen in the office, by phone, or by video.
What counties do you serve?
Onondaga County and Central New York generally, with matters accepted elsewhere in New York depending on the case and the calendar.
Can you take my case if I already have a lawyer?
Sometimes. Substituting counsel mid-case is possible but depends on the stage of the matter and the court's schedule. Call and we will discuss it directly.
How quickly can I be seen?
For arraignments, orders of protection, and petition deadlines, call — those get handled on short notice. Non-urgent consultations are typically scheduled within the same week.
